Madison got her first tooth today!!!! She is growing by leaps and bounds this week!
This past week has been a big one! Madison has started scooting, eating from a spoon, and repeating sounds! She has made big progress in a short amount of time. She also had her first therapy session and the therapist,Amy, was really impressed with Madison. Madison is also wearing patches to help get her eyes stronger, she has been such a trooper. We are so proud of her!
In other news Emma had her 2nd birthday part at Jungle Gym this past Saturday! It was so much fun and she got sooo many presents. She had a blast and really enjoyed playing with her friends. I can't believe she will be two, I of course felt like crying at her party. She is growing so fast.
My sister is getting close to having Karys! Only two more weeks to go and the grandparents will be surrounded with granddaughters! I can't wait to meet my first niece, I am so excited!
I will have new pictures up soon, it has been forever since I posted any pictures.
It's official: I have my own office at work. It's a crazy shape because it's in a new part of the office that we just started leasing and the people who had it last were crazy with their construction ideas. Lots of good stuff has been happening lately. I've been offered a big project (really it's more like a position change) that will take a lot of extra work. Casey and I discussed it in detail and decided that the good (being willing to meet the company's needs etc.) outweighed the bad (being at work for a few more hours each week), so I'm taking it. The next few weeks will bring a lot of changes related to that move, I'll try to keep you posted. :-)
Casey and the girls are doing great. Madison is making great progress every day, and Emma is starting to speak in short sentences. I'm very proud of both of them. Casey took them recently to get pictures done and she got some great ones of everybody, even two good ones of the three of them all together!
Well I have to get back to watching Cinderella with Emma. I wish I could say that I hope to post more often than I have been, but I suppose it's not likely to happen with everything that's going on!
Speaking of new things that Madison is doing... Casey just called me to say that she is drinking water from a sippy cup... and she can pick it up off of her tray all by herself! This is huge progress, considering that I've never even known of her drinking from a sippy cup at all, and she never holds her bottles.
Goodness we are bad bloggers. I also haven't updated my pictures in awhile, sorry I will try to get better.
I can't believe that it is February already. That means Emma's birthday is this month, she will be two. TWO, SHE WILL BE TWO! I can't believe that, my baby is not longer a baby. I am in shock and every day I realize wow she is becoming a little girl. She can have conversations, ask for things, and do all sorts of new tricks. I still can't believe she will be two, where has the time gone? I feel like it was yesterday we were bringing her home from the hospital.
Now our Miss Madison, all I can say is she is amazing. Every day she does something new that surprises us! She is starting to act more her age than she has in the past. She goes to the eye doctor today, we are getting a second opinion on some things. I will let everyone know how it goes.
Well, I guess that is it for now, not much really.
I've been neglecting all our millions of readers! How dare I? :-)
We had a good visit with Grandmere (my grandmother) over the last few days. She came down from Colorado and stayed with us. It's the first time we've seen her in a little over a year, and it was very good to get to spend some time with her. She's thinking about moving down here, so maybe soon we'll all be spending much more time together!
