During a trip to Israel in 2000, I visited a museum at Yad Vashem, which is a collection of museums, sculptures and monuments dedicated to remembering the holocaust. At this and many other historical sites I saw members of the Israeli Army, not to protect but actually to study. This soldier was particularly intent and I can only imagine what was going on in his mind. Even though this was over ten years ago, I still think of this moment when I'm stressed or sad and then my problems don't seem like that big of a deal anymore.
